Announcement: Inviting participants for Leadership Development Programme for PMC

As a part of the Civil Service Reforms, the Royal Civil Service Commission (RCSC) in collaboration with the Royal Institute of Management (RIM) is introducing a Leadership Development Programme (LDP) for civil servants in the Professional and Management Category (PMC).

This programme is intended to bring the desired mindset and behavioral change in the future leaders as required by the Leadership Capability Framework.  The LDP will be implemented in phases with the first component/workshop scheduled on 14th & 15th March 2022. This workshop is aimed at enabling the participants to lead at a Higher Level and thereby prepare them to transition to P1 position level.

In order to optimize learning, participants will be required to complete assignments before attending the workshop. During the course of the workshop, participants will develop a Leadership Change Project which should be implemented as a post-workshop assignment.  The workshop will be based on reflective learning and skills application with assessment.  Since the Education & Training Services Group and Medical & Health Services Group have their professional development programmes and the other groups do not have any professional development programme, the LDP will commence with civil servants currently in P2 position level who are not in these two major occupational groups.

Therefore, eligible P2 civil servants fulfilling the eligibility criteria are requested to register for the course on or before 23rd February, 2022. Final selection will be done by the Commission.
