Dzongkha Unicode Training for elected Thromde officials
With support from HELVETAS Bhutan, the Department coordinated training for Thromde Tshogpas of Thimphu on the use of Dzongkha Unicode which ranges from drafting official letters and agreements to designing invitations and presentations. This initiative was undertaken following requests made by the Thromde Tshogpas on the importance of using Dzongkha Unicode in their daily work.
Facilitated by Bhutan Interdisciplinary Research & Development Institute (BIRDi), the training concluded with the award of certificates to the participants who expressed huge satisfaction with their learnings.
